Job summary

Wide and Wise is seeking a Principal Computational Engineer to shape the long-term direction of its 3D geometry and DFM platform. You will architect and build systems that convert complex CAD data into manufacturable parts across CNC, sheet metal, additive, and more.

This senior IC role requires leading technical design reviews, mentoring engineers, and collaborating with Product, Manufacturing, ML, and Operations teams to deliver production-grade geometry solutions.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a technical field with strong focus on geometry or CAD/CAE.
• 12+ years of relevant experience, or 8+ years with a PhD.
• Deep expertise in computational geometry and geometric modeling.

Responsibilities

• Define the multi-year technical roadmap for computational geometry platform.
• Architect systems for B-Rep ingestion, feature recognition, and DFM analysis.
• Implement core geometry operations and ensure numerical precision.
