DFDS is seeking a Junior Agency Specialist to join our Turkey team. You will act as a liaison between customers and domestic and overseas agencies, solving voyage-related issues and keeping operations flowing.

You will assist in planning inter-modal services, monitor ship loading/unloading, and maintain weekly voyage position lists while developing MS Office skills and English proficiency.

Formación

• Minimum upper-intermediate level of English.
• 0-2 years of experience in a related field.
• University degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate communication between customers and domestic/overseas agencies; resolve problems.
• Inform Sales department/overseas agencies of voyage-related solutions.
• Create and follow up on inter-modal service programs; review cancellations and penalties.
• Assist in ship loading/unloading operations planning and execution.
• Manage relations with service stakeholders during ship voyages; monitor payments and service requests.
• Prepare weekly and monthly voyage position lists.

About The Role

• To ensure communication between customers and domestic and overseas agencies, and to solve problems,


• To solve the voyage-related problems of customers or to inform the Sales department / overseas agencies of their solution,


• To create and follow up on the program of the inter-modal services, to review cancellations and penalties, and to inform customers,


• To play an efficient role in the management of ship loading and unloading operations,


• To play an active role in the business processes of domestic and overseas agencies,


• To manage the relations with our service stakeholders during the ship voyages, and to monitor and record payment and service requests,


• To constitute the weekly and monthly voyage position list.

About You

• Preferably a university degree or equivalent,


• A minimum upper-intermediate level of English is required,


• Minimum 0-2 years of experience in a related field,


• Expertise in MS Office Applications,


• Interpersonal relations and communication,


• Problem-solving skills,


• Planning and organization skills,


• Compatible with teamwork.
