Job summary

DFDS is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to strengthen our global finance team. You will be part of the Ferry Division Senior Finance Business Partner group, supporting the Divisional CFO and BU MED management on routes, intermodal and agency activities.

The role reports to the CFO Ferry Division at the Copenhagen headquarters and emphasizes collaboration, analytics and process improvements within a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Min. 4-5 years of experience in controlling/finance business partnering.
• Relevant experience from a larger international company.
• A degree within accounting or finance.
• Professional English skills.

Responsibilities

• Help implement the Finance Business partnering concept (supporting strategy formulation and execution).
• Prepare, develop and improve ongoing internal reporting, including budgets/forecasts and KPI interpretation.
• Act as sparring partner for the management of the different business units in the Ferry Division.
• Challenge business units through analysis and drive process alignment and improvements.
• Participate in projects related to new initiatives and existing improvements.
• Controlling of accounting information from the different business units.
• Be part of developing our OneStream reporting tool.

In This Role, You Will

As Senior Finance Business Partner for BU MED, you will get a key role in an international, listed company. You will be a part of the Ferry Division Senior Finance Business Partner team, which plays a central role as sparring partner for the Divisional CFO and Management responsible for individual business units. Acting as a sparring partner to the Divisional CFO who is based at the headquarters in Copenhagen and the local Management Team in BU MED, your area of responsibility will span Routes, Intermodal and Agency activities in BU MED, with support to the Vessel and Terminal operations.

The team is close-knit and characterized by a high professional standard and the ability to drive fresh initiatives in a dynamic and driven environment. You will report to the CFO Ferry Division who is based at DFDS Headquarter in Copenhagen.

Key Responsibilities

• Help implement the Finance Business partnering concept (supporting strategy formulation and execution)
• Support, prepare, develop and improve ongoing internal reporting, both historical and budgets/forecasts, hereunder identifying, preparing and interpretation of relevant key performance indicators.
• Act as sparring partner for the management of the different business units in the Ferry Division.
• Challenge business units through analysis, identify needs for process alignment and participate in the process securing improvements and optimizations.
• Participate in projects related to new initiatives/business as well as improvements to existing ones
• Controlling of accounting information from the different business units
• Be a part of developing our OneStream reporting tool.
