Job summary

Tüpraş invites applications for a Project Planning Engineer to develop baseline and detailed schedules for investments, monitor progress, and drive schedule improvements. You will review contractor plans, support recovery actions, and produce KPI dashboards to aid senior management decisions.

The role requires 3–5 years in project controls, a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, and strong command of Primavera P6 and Excel; Power BI is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or project controls.
• Experience in refinery, petrochemical, energy, process industries, or large-scale capital investment projects is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in developing, updating, and monitoring project schedules.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar project planning and scheduling tools.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; PowerPoint; Power BI is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain baseline and detailed project schedules for projects within the Investment Program.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules, perform periodic updates, and revise schedules as required.
• Track physical progress, conduct progress measurements, and prepare project control and performance reports.
• Identify schedule deviations, critical activities, and potential delays, and provide recommendations to project teams.
• Review contractor schedules, progress measurements, and reports to ensure alignment with contractual requirements and project objectives.
• Support the development and evaluation of recovery plans for delayed projects.
• Develop resource, cost, cash flow, and expenditure forecasts integrated with project schedules.
• Support schedule risk assessments and delay analyses, as well as the evaluation of contractors’ Extension of Time (EOT) and claim requests.
• Develop and maintain project KPIs, dashboards, forecasts, and variance analyses to support management decision-making.
• Monitor and report project activities planned during shutdowns and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in project kick-off and contractor progress meetings to monitor planning requirements and schedule performance.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project data in portfolio and project control systems.
• Support the continuous improvement of project controls methodologies, processes, digital tools, and reporting systems.
• Monitor industry developments and relevant standards and contribute to process improvements.
