Petrol Ofisi, Türkiye’s leading fuel company, invites applications for a Financial Reporting and Analysis Senior Specialist at the Head Office Finance team. You will handle IFRS/TFRS reporting, inflation accounting under IAS 29, and close processes while coordinating audits and delivering management reports.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual IFRS/TFRS reporting packages.
• Manage IAS 29 / TMS 29 inflation accounting adjustments and disclosures.
• Coordinate with independent auditors during interim and year-end audits.
• Review data from group companies for IFRS/TFRS compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end closing; assist in monthly management reports.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports for management; perform monthly financial analysis.
• Contribute to automation and improvement of reporting and consolidation processes.
• Ensure continued compliance of integrated management systems (ISO standards).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to achieve integrated system objectives.

We are looking for a Financial Reporting and Analysis Senior Specialist with the following qualifications to be assigned at the Head Office to join our Finance team.

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field
• 3-6 years of experience in IFRS/TFRS financial reporting, consolidation, managemnet reporting or a similar role
• IFRS knowledge is must, Practical experience with IAS 29 / TMS 29 – Financial Reporting in Hyperinflationary Economies
• Experience in preparing IFRS/TFRS financial statements and disclosures
• Good knowledge of Turkish Commercial Code (TTK) financial reporting and year-end reporting requirements
• Experience in management reports and KPI monitoring
• In-depth knowledge of Excel, SAP/BPC/BW experience would be a plus
• Fluent in both spoken and written English
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of managing multiple deadlines
• Being a good team player

AIM OF JOB

Preparing and ensuring the accuracy of monthly, quarterly and annual IFRS/TFRS financial reporting packages, managing IAS 29/TMS 29 inflation accounting adjustments and disclosures, coordinating audit processes, conducting financial analyses and management reporting, and contributing to the improvement and automation of financial reporting and consolidation processes.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual IFRS/TFRS financial reporting packages
• Manage inflation accounting under IAS 29 / TMS 29, including the related financial statement adjustments and disclosures
• Coordinate with independent auditors during interim and year-end audit processes and provide the required information and documentation
• Review financial data received from Group companies and ensure compliance with IFRS/TFRS reporting requirements
• Support month-end and year-end closing process and assist in preparation of monthly management reports,
• Preparing adhoc reports for management,
• Performing monthly financial analysis,
• Contribute to the improvement and automation of financial reporting and consolidation processes.
• To ensure the continuity of the integrated management system (ISO 14001, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 22301, ISO 27001), improve its processes, comply with its rules and ensure compliance,
• Collaborating with relevant people to achieve the objectives of the integrated management system.
