Job summary

ZF Group in Izmir, Turkey, seeks an IT System Administrator to manage complex infrastructure, coordinate major changes, and implement advanced IT solutions. You will ensure high availability, disaster recovery, security, and service continuity while guiding junior staff and coordinating with global teams and suppliers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in IT/Engineering, strong incident resolution and coordination skills, and fluency in English and Turkish.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, networks, security, availability, and service continuity.
• Proven experience in resolving complex incidents and performing root-cause analysis.
• Ability to take operational ownership of systems and infrastructure domains.
• Experience coordinating significant changes, problem-resolution activities, and advanced technical improvements.
• Advanced analytical, troubleshooting, decision-making, and coordination skills.
• Experience in security audits (e.g. TISAX, ISMS) and basic AI platform knowledge.
• Fluent in English and Turkish.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support and resolve complex incidents affecting local IT services.

• Take operational ownership of selected infrastructure systems and services.
• Identify recurring issues and define permanent corrective actions.
• Design and implement improvements for backup, redundancy, and disaster recovery.
• Coordinate security activities: remediation, patch prioritisation, access controls, incident response.
• Evaluate and implement advanced infrastructure solutions and major improvements.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and coordinate with stakeholders and suppliers; maintain documentation.

The position manages complex infrastructure issues, coordinates significant changes, and implements advanced local and global IT solutions. It contributes to high availability, disaster recovery, security, and service continuity planning. It provides technical guidance to less experienced employees and coordinates activities with business stakeholders, global teams, and suppliers.

Your profile as IT System Administrator:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, networks, security, availability, and service continuity
• Proven experience in resolving complex incidents, conducting root-cause analysis, and preventing recurring problems
• Ability to take operational ownership of assigned systems, services, or infrastructure domains
• Experience in coordinating significant changes, problem-resolution activities, and advanced technical improvements and strong knowledge of backup, redundancy, capacity planning, disaster recovery, vulnerability remediation, and risk management
• Advanced analytical, troubleshooting, decision-making, and technical coordination skills
• Experience in conducting security audits e.g. TISAX, ISMS and fundamental knowledge about AI solutions/platforms
• Fluent in English and Turkish
