Job summary

Unifree Duty Free in Istanbul operates a large-scale IT infrastructure supporting duty-free shops across airports. We seek an experienced IT Systems Administrator to design, deploy and maintain server, virtualization and backup environments.

You will work with Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, VMware, Microsoft 365 Entra ID, storage and backup technologies, ensuring business continuity and security. Strong English skills required; Turkish proficiency preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Min. 4 years of experience in systems administration.
• Hands-on with Windows & Linux Server infrastructure, AD, and VMware vSphere.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, including hybrid identity.
• Experience with SAN/NAS storage and backup hardware/solutions.
• Familiarity with Veeam, Zabbix, Grafana; IT security practices and ITIL/ISO 27001.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good English communication.

• Administer backups and DR tests.
• Apply system updates and security hardening.
• Monitor health, capacity and performance; respond to alerts.
• Automate routine tasks with scripting.

• Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (Azure AD), including hybrid identity,
• Experience managing server, storage (SAN/NAS) and backup hardware/solutions,
• Hands-on experience with backup & recovery technologies (e.g. Veeam) and restore testing,
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g. Zabbix/Grafana) and patch management,
• Familiarity with information security practices and IT frameworks (ITIL, ISO 27001),
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good command of written and spoken English,
