Job summary

DP World in Istanbul is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead the local sales team, drive growth across Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and Project Cargo, and ensure achievement of revenue and profitability targets. You will manage strategic accounts, coach the team, and coordinate with internal functions to deliver projects successfully.

The role requires a strong track record in freight forwarding sales, team leadership, and excellent relationship-building with customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in Freight Forwarding sales, business development, or commercial management.
• Experience leading teams and driving performance.
• Strong knowledge of Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and Project Cargo services.
• Proven track record delivering revenue and gross profit targets.
• Experience in multi-stakeholder environments and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Istanbul sales team to maximize performance and achieve targets.
• Drive revenue growth across Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and Project Cargo through proactive engagement.
• Manage strategic Key Accounts and high-value customers.
• Lead tenders and negotiations in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
• Ensure pipeline management, forecast accuracy, and reporting in CRM.
• Collaborate with Operations, Pricing, Finance, and Customer Service for successful execution.
