Dr. Öreroğlu Plastic Surgery Clinic, led by European Double Board Certified Plastic Surgeon Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Rıza Öreroğlu, specializes in aesthetic surgery and nonsurgical procedures, serving an international clientele with a premium, personalized patient experience.

Role Description

We are seeking an Interpreter to guide our international patients through their surgical journey in Istanbul. The role is responsible for managing patient documentation, accompanying and interpreting for patients during their pre-operative preparation at the hospital, and coordinating their post-operative care and follow-ups. Working closely with our surgeon, medical team and hospital staff, the Interpreter ensures every patient feels informed, supported and cared for from arrival to recovery. The role offers comprehensive training and long-term career progression within the clinic.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, collect and manage patient paperwork, consent forms and medical documentation
• Accompany patients at the hospital during surgery preparation and admission
• Interpret between patients and hospital staff
• Act as the main point of contact for patients and their companions during their stay
• Plan and coordinate post-operative care, check-ups and follow-up appointments
• Respond promptly and clearly to patient questions before and after surgery
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow-up schedules

Required Experience & Skills

• 1–3 years of experience in a patient-facing or client-facing role (patient coordination, healthcare, medical tourism, hospitality or similar)
• Very good written and spoken English (fluent level)
• Fluency in at least one of the following languages is preferred: Italian, French, German or Spanish
• Warm, calm and reassuring manner with patients
• Strong organizational skills and disciplined follow-through
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with documentation
• Healthcare background is a plus but not required
• Discretion in handling confidential medical information
• Flexibility to work at the hospital and to respond to time-sensitive patient needs outside standard working hours
