Job summary

OYAK GRUP SİGORTA ve Reasürans Brokerliği A.Ş. in Fatih, Istanbul, seeks an experienced Claims Operations professional to manage motor and non-motor claims end-to-end.

You will open files, review coverage, coordinate with repair shops and reinsurers, and prepare period reports to support efficient claims handling and client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Insurance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in claims operations and claims file management within an insurance company, brokerage firm, or claims management company.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Receiving Motor and Non-Motor claim notifications from insured parties and clients; opening claims files and monitoring them throughout the process.
• Reviewing claims in line with policy coverage and applicable regulations.
• Managing reserve setting and indemnity calculation processes.
• Coordinating with repair shops, loss adjusters, service providers, and reinsurers to ensure efficient handling and approvals.
• Monitoring subrogation, salvage, and recovery opportunities and preparing documentation.
• Responding to client inquiries and providing timely updates.
• Preparing periodic reports and analyses related to the claims portfolio.

Job description

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Insurance, or a related field,
• Minimum 3 years of experience in claims operations and claims file management within an insurance company, brokerage firm, or claims management company,
• Comprehensive knowledge of applicable regulations, policy terms and conditions, and operational processes across both Motor (Motor Own Damage and Motor Third-Party Liability) and Non-Motor lines (Fire, Marine, Engineering, Liability, Personal Accident, etc.),
• Experience in reviewing loss adjuster reports and managing repair, reinsurance and recovery processes,
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, preferably with experience in international non-motor claims and reinsurance correspondence,
• Proficiency in MS Office applications; familiarity with insurance software and data analytics tools is an asset,
• Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and crisis-management skills.

Job Description
