Job summary

DSV Air & Sea SAU is seeking a Senior Insurance Specialist in Turkey to manage insurance coverage for shipments and operations, conduct risk assessments, and oversee the end-to-end claims process. You will liaise with internal stakeholders and insurers to ensure compliant and cost-effective risk management.

The role requires five years in Insurance/ Reinsurance or Brokerage, strong English, and proficiency in MS Office and CIRA. Join a global team under the Director, Finance, Turkey.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Banking and Insurance or Statistics.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Insurance / Reinsurance and/or Insurance Brokerage.
• Ability to communicate with global teams.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Proficiency in global insurance platforms such as CIRA.
• Good knowledge of English (speaking and writing).

Responsibilities

• Procure and manage insurance policies to ensure adequate coverage for shipments and operations.
• Risk Assessment: conduct risk assessments and provide coverage recommendations.
• Claim Processing: handle end-to-end claims process, including documentation, submission, negotiation, and settlement.
• Documentation: maintain accurate records of policies, claims and related documents.
• Communication: be primary contact for internal stakeholders, partners, and insurers.
• Continuous Improvement: evaluate and enhance policies, claim processes and risk strategies.
• Customer Service: provide timely insurance-related assistance to clients.
• Dispute Resolution: address disputes related to insurance claims fairly.
