Job summary

La Lorraine Bakery Group NV seeks an In-Store Excellence Manager to lead bakery execution across retail customers. This role bridges Sales, Marketing, Category Management, NPD, Operations and Retail to deliver on timelines and store readiness.

The incumbent will coordinate customer projects, ensuring alignment of suppliers and internal teams for optimal sales, profitability and customer satisfaction. Fluency in English is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management or related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in Retail, FMCG, Food Service or related industry, preferably in a customer-facing role.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, category management and in-store execution; bakery or fresh/frozen food experience is a strong advantage.
• Strong commercial and analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable solutions.
• Excellent customer management, influencing and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Hands-on, field-oriented approach with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to travel regularly and spend time in customer stores.

Responsibilities

• Define and deploy LLBG's In-Store Excellence strategy across retail customers.
• Establish bakery standards for product presentation, merchandising, shelf management, product rotation and freshness.
• Develop and implement the “Perfect Bakery Department” concept for strategic retail customers.
• Conduct store visits and execution reviews to identify improvement opportunities.
• Build strong partnerships with key retail customers.
• Advise customers on bakery layout, category growth, profitability, consumer trends and operational efficiency.
• Present category reviews and business recommendations to retail executives together with local LL Sales teams.
• Develop and follow up on the category development and in-store execution components of joint business plans in close collaboration with Key Account Managers and field teams.
• Own execution standards for frozen-to-fresh bakery concepts.
• Ensure consistent execution of correct baking procedures, product quality standards, product availability and freshness throughout the day.
• Develop and optimize baking schedules to reduce waste, improve availability and maximize sales performance.
• Drive bakery category growth across key retail accounts.
• Identify opportunities to increase traffic, basket size, conversion rates and impulse purchases.
• Translate category, shopper and store performance insights into actionable in-store initiatives.
• Measure the commercial impact of Store Excellence initiatives and continuously improve execution.
