As Wanhua continues to expand its operations in Türkiye, we are looking for an Import & Logistics Specialist based in Istanbul to manage import operations, bonded warehouse activities, inventory control, customs processes, and domestic logistics.
- Manage end-to-end import and customs operations for containerized and tank shipments, including documentation and sharing relevant documents with customers.
- Coordinate daily operations with customs brokers, bonded warehouses, transportation companies, and other logistics partners.
- Manage bonded warehouse operations — material receipts, transfers, withdrawals, and customer deliveries.
- Monitor and control inventory and stock accuracy across warehouses.
- Conduct monthly stock reconciliation and month-end warehouse calculations.
- Track stock movements and logistics transactions in SAP.
- Coordinate domestic transportation and customer deliveries for containerized and tank products.
- Review and verify warehouse, customs, transportation and logistics invoices.
- Monitor logistics costs and support cost-saving initiatives.
- Identify operational issues and coordinate timely solutions with relevant parties.
- Ensure compliance with Turkish customs regulations and company procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, International Trade, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in import, customs, or logistics operations.
- Strong experience with Turkish customs processes and bonded warehouse operations.
- Experience in inventory control and stock reconciliation.
- Good knowledge of import documentation and customs procedures.
- Experience with containerized and/or Tank cargo operations is preferred.
- Strong Excel skills; SAP experience is preferred.
- Strong planning, coordination, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English, written and spoken.
- Chinese language skills are a plus.
- Chemical industry/logistics experience is a plus.
