Job summary

Nuh Çimento Sanayi A.Ş. is seeking an Import Specialist to join the Procurement Directorate in Kocaeli, Türkiye. The role focuses on coordinating international freight, customs operations, and bonded warehouse oversight, reporting to the Board as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in international trade or related field, 3+ years in logistics and import processes, and strong proficiency in MS Office and SAP MM. Excellent communication skills are a must.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, international trade, and international transportation.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and SAP MM module.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong organizational and task management skills, with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Conducting international freight and customs operations.
• Coordinating international logistics operations, including land, sea, air, and project transportation; planning efficient and cost-effective routes for imports and determining optimal logistics models.
• Preparing and coordinating contracts related to logistics, spot purchases, and insurance processes.
• Following up on customs operations with relevant authorities; obtaining import permits from ministries and institutions (e.g., Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change) and systems like EÇBS, TAEK, İSGÜM.
• Overseeing C-type bonded warehouse and inventory.
• Coordinating procurement processes, contracts, and tenders for solid fuels (coal and petcoke), and preparing reports for the Board of Directors.
