Job summary

We are seeking an Associate – Import Logistics to join the Supply Chain Directorate at Beko Corporate. You will engage in import logistics planning, budgeting support, and advanced reporting to optimize costs and ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires knowledge of Incoterms, SAP/Office tools, and strong English communication. You will contribute to cost reductions, multi-modal shipments, and global reporting initiatives within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, MIS or related field.
Knowledge of decision support systems or similar systems preferred.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge is an asset.
Excellent English verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities

Follow up on Import Logistics & Customs Operations Group Management’s improvement areas and analyze trends, expenses, seasonality, anomalies.
Maximize operational efficiency, optimize systems, design automatic reports, and lead decision support systems.
Report design with system data and creation of new measuring systems.
Support or create for an advanced Import Logistics budgeting system and business development projects.
Follow up on Global Supply Chain systems and reporting.
Provide traceability of all reports in the Qlik system.
Plan import logistics and customs activities to ensure timely delivery of material and products.
Implement import opportunities in logistics by following developments for the company’s objectives.
Ensure timely flow of information to production planning teams about shipments and customs operations.
Experience in multi-modal shipments and knowledge of Incoterms and import regulations.
Monitor, analyze, and publish performance metrics of suppliers and forwarders.
Deal with international logistics, managing import documentation, letters of credit, inbound customs operations.
Engage with transporters and customs brokers on service levels.
Develop new methods for cost reductions.
Participate in projects to reduce transportation costs and improve overseas on-time delivery.
Analyze alternate transportation solutions for cost-effectiveness.
Undertake remarkable supply chain projects to ease workflows.
Contribute to supply chain logistics cost optimization for best landed costs.
