Job summary

The role focuses on improving import processes, reporting, and cost optimization, with emphasis on multi-modal shipments, Incoterms, and compliance. You will work on decision support systems, leverage SAP and MS Office, analyze supplier performance, and ensure timely delivery of materials while collaborating with production planning.

Qualifications

• Preferably knowledge of decision support systems or similar systems.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs; SAP knowledge is an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
• Thinking broadly about business and understanding market/customer needs.
• Desire to deliver outstanding work and adopt market trends and new technologies.
• Good interpersonal awareness and ability to listen to different perspectives.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate import logistics activities to ensure timely delivery.
• Develop and optimize import reporting and decision-support processes.
• Analyze supplier and forwarder performance and publish metrics.
• Manage international logistics, including documentation and letters of credit.
• Collaborate with production planning on shipments and customs data.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities in transportation and overseas delivery.
