DECATHLON Belgium NV is seeking an Import Coordinator to join our Transport & Customs Team in Turkey. You will optimize and manage import processes for global trades, ensuring on-time availability at the best costs.

The role requires 2–3 years in global trade/logistics, strong data analysis, and ERP proficiency, with excellent English communication. Hybrid benefits include a mix of office and remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in international trade, business management, or related field.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• 2–3 years of experience in global trade, logistics, importation or international transportation.

Responsibilities

• Manage international transport and customs operations end-to-end to ensure timely and quality product flow.
• Forecast, organize and debrief import/export activity.
• Follow up on customs clearance procedures in origin/destination zones.
• Manage and measure performance of logistics service providers.
• Ensure local charges of purchase and sales prices.

Job Description:

As an Import Coordinator, you will join our Transport & Customs Team to optimize and manage the import processes for worldwide trades respecting on-time availability at the best costs processes.

Qualifications:

• Is passionate about International Trade and Logistics
• Has a Bachelor's Degree from related international trade, business management, etc. departments
• Has an excellent command of written and spoken English
• Has had 2-3 years of previous experience in global trade, logistics, importation business or international transportation
• Has a strong sense of organization, priority management and adaptability
• Is good at data analysis and able to use ERP Systems
• Is proactive, practical and challenge-oriented
• Has team spirit and likes to play within a worldwide network
• Has awareness or interest in sustainable logistics (carbon footprint / CO2 reduction)

Responsibilities:

• Manage international transport and customs operations end-to-end to ensure timely and quality product flow
• Forecast, organize and debrief the import & export activity
• Follow up on customs clearance administrative procedures in the customs zone of origin/destination
• Manage and measure the performance of the logistics service providers
• Guarantee the local charges of purchase and sales prices
• Give technical advice to the supply and production teams and suggest new actions to improve economic performance
• Manage import zones and local export
• Prepare & follow up monthly KPI's
