Job summary

Addus is seeking an operations manager to oversee daily branch operations and administrative functions, including recruitment, orientation, training and retention of branch and office staff in order to meet monthly census targets.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years supervisory experience, and proven ability to drive census growth, with travel to service areas and solid MS Office/HRIS skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 3–5 years healthcare experience; home care or related settings preferred.
• 2+ years in supervisory/management roles.
• Experience driving census or revenue growth.
• Experience delivering training to staff.
• Proven ability to handle compliance/audits.
• Strong MS Office and HRIS skills; familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Financials experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee branch operations and ensure compliance with company and contractual requirements.
• Support census and revenue growth through effective care plan delivery.
• Recruit, orient, train and retain branch and office staff.
• Provide guidance to staff on workers' compensation and unemployment claims.
• Facilitate team meetings and staff development.
• Assess staff skills and conduct training and counseling as needed.
• Maintain relationships with referral sources and participate in recruitment events.
• Develop processes to ensure services are delivered as authorized.
• Prepare and present weekly/monthly progress reports to Agency and Regional Directors.
• Troubleshoot customer concerns and manage payroll and billing as needed.
