Job summary

Trendyol is seeking a payments strategy leader to drive the global payments strategy, build partnerships with PSPs and banks, and enable a seamless checkout experience for international growth.

You will optimize costs, drive adoption of new payment methods, and collaborate with product and tech teams for smooth integrations, with a hybrid working model and global collaboration opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree from a reputable university.
• 4–12 years of experience in payments roles including strategy, business development, partnerships, campaign management, and product ownership.
• Proven experience organizing and directing multiple teams and departments.
• Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity.
• Excellent knowledge of payment systems/fintech industry.
• Good business acumen and curiosity with understanding of business, competition and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the payment collection strategy for Trendyol, aligning with commercial and financial objectives.
• Develop an optimal payment acceptance structure by identifying key payment methods and market-specific customer behaviors.
• Select and manage relationships with payment partners (fintechs, banks, schemes) aligned with Trendyol’s goals.
• Negotiate and close payment partnership agreements to secure advantageous terms with key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product and tech teams for seamless integration of payment solutions and better user experience.
• Identify process improvements to optimize payment operations and streamline transactions.
• Monitor and analyze key payment metrics to drive enhancements and innovations.
• Systematically analyze regional payment-system-based loyalty programs and integrate relevant models.
