Job summary

Marmara Metal Mamülleri Tic. A.Ş. is seeking a highly organized Export Specialist to join our international trade team.

You will manage export operations from order confirmation to delivery, coordinating shipments and ensuring accurate, compliant documentation. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, or Economics, with 0-2 years in export operations, strong knowledge of export docs, Incoterms, and L/Cs, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in export operations or international trade.
• Strong knowledge of export documentation, customs procedures, Incoterms, and international shipping.
• Experience with Letters of Credit and documentary payment methods preferred.
• Experience in metals, minerals, steel, ferroalloys, commodities or related materials is advantageous.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English; other languages a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced international trading environment.

Responsibilities

• Sell products to existing clients and establish new customers.
• Manage the export operation process from order confirmation to final delivery.
• Prepare and review export documentation (invoices, packing lists, origin certificates, EUR.1, A.TR, bills of lading).
• Coordinate shipments with customers, suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners.
• Handle containerized, breakbulk, bulk, road, and multimodal shipments.
• Ensure compliance with Incoterms, customs regulations, export procedures and documentation.
• Coordinate documentary requirements for L/C, CAD, D/P, D/A and other payments.
• Monitor freight costs, demurrage, port charges, and logistics expenses.
• Identify operational risks and ensure accurate export records and correspondence.
• Communicate shipment status and documentation with international customers.
