Job summary

DSV Road GmbH in Turkey seeks a Senior Insurance Specialist to manage insurance coverage, claims, and risk strategies. You will work with local stakeholders and the global Insurance & Claims team, reporting to the Director, Finance, Turkey. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Banking and Insurance or Statistics.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Insurance / Reinsurance and/or Insurance Brokerage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CIRA.
• Good knowledge of English (speaking and writing).

Responsibilities

• Procure and manage insurance policies to ensure adequate coverage for our shipments and operations.
• Conduct risk assessments for each shipment and recommend coverage and risk mitigation strategies.
• Handle the end-to-end claims process, including documentation, submission, negotiation with providers, and settlement.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of policies, claims, and related documentation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, external partners, and providers.
• Evaluate and enhance insurance policies, claim processes, and risk management strategies to improve efficiency.
• Provide timely and professional assistance to clients regarding insurance-related inquiries and claims issues.
• Address disputes or discrepancies related to insurance claims to maintain positive relationships.

Job Description
