Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an Import Operations Responsible to manage end-to-end import processes, coordinating with customs agencies, logistics providers and international vendors. The role will also handle purchase orders and invoicing to ensure timely, compliant imports.

You will use SAP MM and SD, collaborate with Sales and Finance teams, and maintain stock records while optimizing workflows. A bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in international trade and logistics are required, with strong English

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in international trade, logistics and import operations.
• Good knowledge of import procedures and customs processes.
• Hands-on experience with SAP MM and SD modules.
• Experience with CRM systems and/or Salesforce is an asset.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Good command of MS Office applications.
• Strong communication, coordination and follow-up skills.
• Detail-oriented, proactive and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end import operations in coordination with customs agencies, logistics providers and international vendors.
• Creating and following up purchase orders for international vendors.
• Coordinating import documentation, shipment and customs clearance processes.
• Managing vendor invoices and related operational documentation.
• Supporting inventory management and ensuring accurate stock records.
• Managing invoicing processes.
• Using SAP ERP modules, particularly MM and SD, as part of daily operations.
• Acting as a SAP key user, monitoring processes and supporting operational improvements.
• Working closely with Sales, Finance, Logistics and other relevant teams to ensure smooth operational processes.
