Job summary

Believe is seeking a Finance Controller to lead accounting, treasury, and budgeting functions across a multinational environment. You will oversee monthly closes, balance sheet reconciliations, and the preparation of financial statements, ensuring regulatory compliance and robust internal controls.

The role requires Big Four audit exposure, IFRS expertise, and strong communication with international stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 6–7 years of relevant professional experience in finance, accounting, financial controlling, and reporting.
• Experience in external audit at one of the Big Four accounting firms is required.
• Proven experience in management reporting and budgeting within a corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local statutory accounting standards, and applicable tax regulations.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP systems proficiency (SAP or similar).
• Experience with Power BI or other financial reporting tools is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and/or manages accounting functions, treasury, financial planning and budgeting, audit, tax.
• Establishes and maintains effective financial management ensuring sound controls and compliance.
• Supervises monthly balancing of books and monthly account reviews; prepares monthly financial statements.
• Prepares and presents budget and financial reports; communicates results to management.
• Coordinates annual independent audit and internal control processes.
• Ensures timely and accurate financial reports and statutory payroll/tax reporting.
• Supports strategic planning and special projects as required.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
