TalentIST People Solutions is seeking an Accounting Associate for a multinational client in Türkiye. The role focuses on financial reporting, compliance, and process improvements within SAP FI and related finance operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 3–4 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Knowledge of Turkish accounting regulations and financial processes.
• Understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Experience with SAP FI and strong Excel proficiency.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Good English written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and record vendor invoices in SAP.
• Support vendor master data maintenance and reimbursements.
• Monitor purchase orders and coordinate renewals.
• Prepare and post entries for operating expenses and banking.
• Support fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and capitalization.
• Handle import-related accounting including VAT reconciliations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and cash management support.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Support audits and tax authority requests.
• Identify process improvements and SAP automation opportunities.
