Global Finance Accountant with SAP & Reporting

Job summary

IKA Works Turkey is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant who will take responsibility for our financial processes and contribute to the efficiency of our accounting operations.

You will manage all accounting transactions, check and post invoices in SAP, handle expenses, reconciliations, month-end and year-end closures, and provide timely financial reports such as P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow.

Qualifications

• Work experience as an Accountant (Industry).
• Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
• MS Excel skills.
• Optional: SAP-FI experience.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Confidentiality and integrity.
• Very good English skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions of IKA Works Turkey
• Check, verify and post incoming invoices and categorize records in SAP
• Administrate travel and other expenses
• Prepare payments and reconcile bank statements
• Handle dunning procedure (checking incoming payments, contacting customers for overdue payments and generate payment reminders)
• Perform all necessary account and intercompany reconciliations
• Handle month-end and year-end closures and provide timely financial reports like P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow reports
• Preparing the annual Budget Reporting in collaboration with Managing Director
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns (e.g. VAT) - optional
• Close contact with local tax advisors and other business partners
