Job summary

Sanipak is seeking a finance professional in Turkey to manage accounting and financial operations for import and export transactions. The role requires monitoring accounts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating with logistics and customs to keep records accurate.

You will support VAT reporting, collaborate with IT to optimize SAP-driven processes, and work with procurement and logistics to ensure timely, fully reconciled transactions. Hybrid/remote options available.

Qualifications

• Graduated from relevant departments of universities.
• At least 4 years of experience in finance.
• Experience with accounts receivable and current account management.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Preferably SAP experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and financial operations related to import and export transactions.
• Monitor and reconcile import and export accounts.
• Ensure regulatory updates are reflected in systems.
• Review customs, logistics invoices and manage related payments.
• Support VAT and tax reporting processes.
• Collaborate with IT to digitalize import/export processes in SAP.

What do we expect from our new team member?

• Managing accounting and financial operations related to import and export transactions.
• Monitoring and reconciling import and export accounts.
• Monitoring all relevant regulations related to import and export processes and ensuring that regulatory updates are reflected in the systems.
• Reviewing invoices from customs, logistics, and foreign trade service providers and managing related payments and reconciliations.
• Reviewing accounting entries and supporting documentation related to import transactions.
• Supporting monthly VAT and tax reporting processes in coordination with relevant teams.
• Preparing input VAT lists required for the monthly VAT refund process.
• Collaborating with IT and relevant teams to digitalize and improve import and export processes in SAP and supporting related projects.
• Working closely with Procurement, Logistics, and other relevant teams to ensure that import and export processes are completed accurately, on time, and in full reconciliation.
