Job summary

Sanipak in Turkey seeks a Finance Specialist to manage import/export financial processes, monitor currency transactions, and ensure accuracy of trade-related accounting.

The role requires 4+ years in finance, AR management, and proficiency in MS Office; SAP experience is preferred. Hybrid/remote options may apply, with strong emphasis on compliance and cash flow optimization.

Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and control financial processes related to import and export transactions; perform checks on customs declarations and trade documents.
• Oversee Eximbank, credit insurance, letters of credit, FX and currency transactions.
• Monitor foreign currency loans and coordinate related bank transactions.
• Review accounting entries, balance sheet accounts, reconciliations, and period-end controls for foreign trade.
• Monitor import costs, payment terms, and currency impact on cash flow and financing.

What do we expect from our new team member?

• Managing, monitoring, and controlling financial processes related to import and export transactions; performing financial and accounting checks of customs declarations and foreign trade documentation.
• Managing and controlling Eximbank, credit insurance, letters of credit (L/C), foreign exchange, and currency transactions.
• Monitoring the utilization, maturity, repayment, and closure processes of foreign currency loans and coordinating related transactions with banks and relevant institutions.
• Reviewing accounting entries, balance sheet accounts, bank/account reconciliations, and period-end controls related to foreign trade transactions.
• Monitoring import costs, payment and collection terms, and the impact of foreign trade transactions on cash flow and financing costs.
• Monitoring foreign currency exposure and FX

What kind of teammate are we looking for?

• Graduated from relevant departments of universities,
• Having at least 4 years of experience in the finance field,
• Experienced in current account / accounts receivable management,
• Proficient in MS Office applications,
• Preferably experienced in SAP.
