Job summary

Garanti BBVA Teknoloji is seeking an Insurance Solutions Developer to join our agile team. You will develop new products for branch and digital channels, participate in third-party integrations, and contribute to technology transformation initiatives.

The role emphasizes high-quality software, security, and scalable architectures. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of professional development experience, strong OO, design patterns, and proficiency with SDLC tools and monitoring platforms.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering.
• At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience using SDLC tools (IntelliJ IDEA, Git, Jenkins, SonarQube).
• Experience in web services like API, REST, IIB/Layer7.
• Knowledge and experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk and Kibana.
• Knowledge in Object Oriented Programming, Algorithms, Design Patterns, Code Refactoring.
• Experience in Oracle Database.
• Experience in Mainframe Environment.
• Knowledge of Agile software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Willing to provide 24/7 support to problems that may occur in the systems or applications.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality software.
• Fluent in the language, able to understand and review documents in English, and to express yourselves very well in written environments and oral meetings.

Responsibilities

• Develop new products and services for branch and digital channels and improve existing products and services.
• Actively participate in integration processes with 3rd party companies.
• Actively participate in application technology transformation processes and contribute to transformation initiatives.
• Actively participate in the resolution of issues that may occur in systems and applications, and work in coordination with resilience teams.
• Take initiative within the organization to develop innovative projects by utilizing emerging technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions.
• Design and develop applications with a focus on quality, security, scalability, efficiency, and sustainability.
• Follow innovations and current developments in technologies and development methodologies.
