Job summary

Fineksus is seeking an Expert Software Engineer to join our R&D team in Istanbul on a hybrid basis, requiring 2 days weekly in the Sarıyer office. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions, take ownership of full-stack components, and collaborate across cross-functional teams.

You will mentor engineers, participate in Agile ceremonies, apply clean code and SOLID principles, and leverage Azure DevOps and AI-assisted tools to improve quality and delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience as a Full-Stack Engineer.
• Experience with .NET, C#, REST APIs, and data access abstractions.
• Strong Azure DevOps knowledge (CI/CD, source control, work items).
• RESTful API design, SOA and microservices concepts.
• RDBMS & NoSQL design and development.
• Familiarity with containers and microservices is a plus.
• Ability to leverage AI tools across the development lifecycle.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

We are looking for an Expert Software Engineer to join our R&D team. The role is hybrid, requiring 2 days a week in our Sarıyer/Istanbul office, and reports to the Senior Development Manager.

How will be your day like?

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-quality software solutions
• Take ownership offull-stack components, ensuring alignment with business, regulatory, and technical requirements.
• Translate business and domain requirements into well-designed technical solutions and system architectures.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and delivery.
• Apply clean code principles, SOLID design principles, and appropriate design patterns across projects.
• Perform code reviews (2nd level) and support continuous improvement of code quality and engineering standards.
• Collaborate with Analysis, Test, Support, and Product teams to deliver production-ready solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in development and production environments, ensuring system stability and performance.
• Contribute to deployment and release processes, performing required controls and supporting smooth production rollouts.
• Mentor less experienced engineers through knowledge sharing, pair programming, and technical guidance.
• Follow developments in related technologies, financial crime regulations, and modern software engineering practices; contribute to R&D activities
• Actively useAzure DevOps for CI/CD processes, work tracking, and code quality practices
• UseAI-assisted development tools to support coding, refactoring, testing, and overall code quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience as a Full-Stack Software Engineer, preferably in financial services, AML, or compliance-related systems.
• Strong experience with modern .NET Ecosystem, developing scalable backend services using C#, RESTful APIs, and well-designed data access abstractions over relational databases.
• Strong working knowledge of Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, source control, and work item tracking.
• Solid experience in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs, with a strong understanding of SOA and microservices architectures.
• Proven experience in RDBMS and NoSQL database design and development.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices-based systems is a plus.
• Ability to effectively leverage AI tools in the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, coding, debugging, refactoring, and test generation.
• Strong knowledge of clean code principles, and adherence to coding standards and software engineering best practices.
• Ability to take ownership of features end-to-end—from design to deployment—and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
• Good command of written and spoken English.
