Job summary

MINDPICKED is seeking an experienced Financial Affairs Manager to oversee the company’s financial and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will drive budgeting, cost accounting and reporting, leveraging SAP FI/CO to optimize performance across production, procurement and sales.

You will lead the finance team, ensure compliance with Turkish standards, and deliver timely financial insights to support strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in finance and accounting, with management exposure.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, reporting and analysis.
• Hands-on SAP experience, especially FI/CO.
• Good knowledge of Turkish accounting standards and tax legislation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all financial accounting and reporting processes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Lead cost accounting, cost control, and variance analysis.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts and cash flow.
• Coordinate tax, statutory reporting and external audits.
• Ensure SAP ERP is used effectively in accounting and reporting.
• Develop finance controls and lead the finance team.

We are looking for an experienced Financial Affairs Manager to oversee the company’s financial and accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial accounting, cost accounting, budgeting and reporting, with hands‑on SAP experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all financial accounting and reporting processes,
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports,
• Manage cost accounting and cost control processes, including cost analysis, product costing and variance analysis,
• Monitor actual costs against budgets and identify cost optimization opportunities,
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts and financial plans,
• Analyze financial performance and provide management with actionable financial insights,
• Ensure accurate accounting records in accordance with local legislation and company policies,
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes,
• Monitor cash flow, working capital and financial performance,
• Coordinate tax, statutory reporting and external audit processes,
• Ensure effective use of SAP ERP in accounting, financial reporting and cost accounting processes,
• Work closely with production, procurement, sales and other business functions to improve financial performance,
• Develop and improve financial controls, processes and reporting systems,
• Lead and develop the finance/accounting team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field,
• Minimum 7 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in a managerial role,
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, budgeting, financial reporting and financial analysis,
• Hands‑on experience with SAP, particularly SAP FI/CO modules,
• Strong understanding of cost structures, cost allocation and variance analysis,
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and management reporting,
• Good knowledge of Turkish accounting standards and tax legislation,
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and leadership skills,
• Advanced MS Office skills, particularly Excel,
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment,
• Experience with SAP FI/CO and management reporting,
• Experience in product costing and standard costing,
• Experience in financial planning, budgeting and cost optimization projects,
• CPA / SMMM qualification or relevant professional certification is an advantage.
