Job summary

MINDPICKED is seeking a Treasury & Financial Planning Specialist for our client in the chemical manufacturing sector. The role focuses on cash flow, liquidity management, and treasury policy execution, with emphasis on financial analysis and reporting.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a finance-related field, 2+ years of relevant experience, and strong English communication skills. Experience with Oracle ERP or SAP is preferred and manufacturing exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing treasury experience preferred or strong related practice.
• IFRS knowledge and financial reporting understanding.

We are looking for a Treasury & Financial Planning Specialist for our client. Our client is a leading company in the chemical manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:

Treasury & Cash Management

• Cash Flow Operations: Manage daily cash flow operations by monitoring bank balances, forecasting short- and medium-term cash requirements, and optimizing cash utilization across the organization,
• Liquidity & Banking Operations: Execute daily banking transactions, prepare and manage payment schedules, conduct regular liquidity analyses, identify potential financial risks at an early stage, and recommend actionable mitigation strategies,
• Financing & Banking Relationships: Manage the company's loan portfolio and financing activities, maintain and strengthen relationships with banks and financial institutions, and support the development and implementation of treasury policies and procedures,
• Market Analysis & Foreign Exchange Risk (Hedging): Monitor financial market trends, including interest rates, foreign exchange movements, and investment opportunities; contribute to the development and execution of FX hedging strategies to effectively manage currency risk.
• Financial Statement Analysis: Analyze financial statements, including the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement, to provide strategic insights that support both financial planning and treasury decision-making,
• Budgeting & Variance Analysis: Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes; perform monthly budget-versus-actual analyses, identify key variances, and assist in preparing clear and concise explanations for senior management,
• Financial Consolidation & Project Support: Collect, consolidate, and analyze financial data for monthly management reporting; provide support for financing projects, bank presentations, and financial due diligence processes when required.

Process Excellence

• Automation & Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in treasury and finance automation initiatives and process improvement projects, contributing to the development of smarter, more efficient, and scalable financial operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field,
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Treasury, Corporate Finance, Audit, or other relevant finance functions,
• Previous experience in the Treasury department of a manufacturing company is highly preferred. Alternatively, experience within the Audit, Corporate Finance / Transaction Services, Financial Advisory, or Consulting practices of a Big Four firm will be considered a strong advantage,
• Knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and financial reporting principles is considered a significant asset,
• Familiarity with Oracle ERP and/or SAP is preferred and will facilitate a faster adaptation to business processes,
• Strong understanding of financial statements and financial analysis techniques, with the ability to interpret financial performance, key financial ratios, and cash flow dynamics,
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, scenario analysis, and financial modeling,
• Must have an excellent command of written and spoken English.
