Job summary

MAT Filtration Technologies, based in Izmir, Turkey, seeks a Finance and Reporting Team Leader to oversee banking relationships, cash flow planning, and credit management. Fluent English and strong Excel skills are essential.

You will manage domestic and international bank dealings, evaluate financing options, and ensure timely financial updates to management. A bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in finance, treasury, or related fields are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Financial Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in finance, treasury, banking operations, or related field.
• Proven experience in directly managing credit and financing negotiations with banks; strong knowledge of terms.
• Hands-on experience in international banking transactions and international letters of guarantee.
• Strong knowledge of cash flow planning, collection and payment management, and credit repayment processes.
• Fluent in English with ability to conduct meetings and written correspondence with international banks.
• Advanced MS Excel skills for cash flow projections, credit comparisons, and financial tracking reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with domestic and international banks; negotiate credit facilities, limits, interest rates, maturities, and collateral requirements.
• Evaluate financing alternatives in line with the company’s funding needs; manage credit applications, limit allocation, utilization, and repayment processes.
• Manage international banking operations, international money transfers, and foreign exchange transactions.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow; update collection and payment schedules and identify financing requirements.
• Coordinate letters of guarantee processes with banks and internal departments.
• Monitor credit and LC limits, maturities, and bank fees; optimize banking facility use.
• Prepare and maintain cash flow, credit, and guarantee tracking reports for management updates.
• Coordinate information requests from banks with Accounting and related departments.

We are looking for a Finance and Reporting Team Leader with the qualifications below;

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Financial Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in finance, treasury, banking operations, or a related field.
• Proven experience in directly managing credit and financing negotiations with banks, with strong knowledge of evaluating and negotiating credit terms.
• Hands-on experience in international banking transactions and international letter of guarantee processes.
• Strong knowledge of cash flow planning, collection and payment management, and credit repayment processes.
• Fluent in English, with the ability to independently conduct meetings, phone calls, and written correspondence with international banks.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, with the ability to prepare cash flow projections, credit comparisons, and financial tracking reports.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with a meticulous approach to deadlines, follow-up, and process management.
• Result-oriented, detail-focused, and capable of working effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Job Description

• Manage relationships with domestic and international banks; conduct negotiations regarding credit facilities, limits, interest rates, maturities, and collateral requirements.
• Evaluate financing alternatives in line with the company’s funding needs; manage and follow up credit application, limit allocation, utilization, and repayment processes.
• Manage international banking operations, international money transfers, and foreign exchange transactions.
• Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow; regularly update collection and payment schedules and proactively identify potential financing requirements.
• Coordinate the issuance, amendment, extension, return, and closure processes of domestic and international letters of guarantee with banks and relevant internal departments.
• Monitor credit and letter of guarantee limits, maturities, interest rates, and commissions; control banking transaction costs and ensure efficient use of banking facilities.
• Prepare and maintain cash flow, credit, and letter of guarantee tracking reports in Excel and provide regular financial updates to management.
• Coordinate the preparation of information and documentation requested by banks and collaborate closely with Accounting and relevant departments throughout financing and payment processes.
