Job summary

Sigmamuhendis in Istanbul is seeking a senior civil engineer with 7–10 years of experience to lead quantity take-offs, prepare material take-offs for purchases, and manage progress payments. You will generate final account files, track payments and invoices, and monitor cost controls while coordinating operations-design-office-construction-site workflows.

Valid B class license and willingness to travel are required.

Qualifications

• University degree in Civil Engineering.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience.
• Based in Istanbul area or Izmit.
• Valid B class driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project quantity take-offs.
• Prepare material quantity take-offs for purchase orders.
• Create progress payment file formats.
• Prepare project-based quantity take-offs and progress payments.
• Check progress payments received from other construction sites.
• Enter progress payment processes into the digital system and carry out tracking and approval procedures.
• Unit price analyses and checking of new unit prices.
• Prepare final account files.
• Tracking and checking the payment and invoice tracking tables for the assigned project.
• Ensuring project coordination and workflow (operations-design office-construction site)

Job description

• Graduate of a university Civil Engineering program,
• At least 7 - 10 years of experience,
• Proficient in MS Office and Autocad,
• Strong coordination skills, able to handle work scheduling and time management,
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills,
• Residing in Istanbul – Anatolian side or in the Izmit area,
• Able to work on projects both in the city and out of town,
• No travel restrictions,
• Holds a Class B driver's license and drives actively,
• Able to carry out progress payment, final account, work completion, and measurement attachment checks.
