Job summary

Sigmamuhendislik in Istanbul Beşiktaş is seeking a graduate Electrical/Electrical-Electronics or Electrical/EC Engineering to join our building projects team. You will design, model, and calculate MV/LV/LC electrical systems and support planning and budgeting for project execution.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of MV/LV/LC design experience, proficiency in CAD, BIM (Revit), MS Office, and English for reading reports.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree (as specified).
• Minimum 5 years MV/LV/LC design and calculations.
• Solid design process proficiency.
• Proficient in CAD software.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• BIM modeling experience with Revit preferred.
• Good command of English for reading reports.
• Team player able to coordinate between disciplines.
• Be able to commute to Beşiktaş, Istanbul.
• Military service completed or exempt.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical (MV/LV/LC) designs, models, and calculations for building projects.
• Prepare planning, organization, coordination, and budgets for implementation of these projects.
• Prepare tender documents, cost estimates, quantity take-offs, specifications, and calculation files.
• Perform calculations for their designs, using both mathematical models and manual methods, in compliance with regulations.
• Follow up tasks regarding compliance with quality standards and regulations.

• Graduate of Electrical, Electrical-Electronics, or Electrical/Electronics and Communications Engineering,
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the design, calculation, and engineering of Medium Voltage / Low Voltage / Low-Current systems,
• Experienced in design, with a solid command of design processes,
• Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software,
• Proficient in MS Office,
• Preferably with solid experience in BIM-based modeling (Revit) and design,
• Preferably with a good command of English, able to read and understand foreign reports, articles, regulations, and similar documents and share them with team members,
• A team player, able to coordinate between the electrical discipline and other disciplines,
• Able to commute to the Istanbul - Beşiktaş location without difficulty,
• Completed or exempt from military service.
