Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver hands-on technical support across Turkey and the wider EMEA region. You will install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize advanced food processing equipment at customer sites, ensuring peak performance and reliability.

The role requires travel across Turkey and EMEA, strong mechanical/electrical know-how, and excellent communication with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Experience in field service, industrial maintenance, or manufacturing environments.
• Fluent Turkish and good English communication (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair activities at customer sites across Turkey and EMEA.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues on advanced processing equipment.
• Deliver training to operators and maintenance teams on equipment operation and best practices.
• Prepare accurate service reports, technical documentation, and follow-up recommendations.

In this role, you will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimise advanced food processing equipment, ensuring maximum performance and reliability for our customers.This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who enjoys combining technical problem-solving with customer interaction in a highly international environment. **What you’ll be doing*** Carry out installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair activities at customer sites across Turkey and EMEA* Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues on advanced processing equipment* Perform preventive maintenance and inspections to maximise equipment uptime and operational efficiency* Support customers with operational, maintenance, and technical guidance* Deliver training to operators and maintenance teams on equipment operation and best practices* Prepare accurate service reports, technical documentation, and follow-up recommendations* Identify spare parts requirements and recommend upgrades or improvements where appropriate* Collaborate with internal engineering, technical support, and project teams to ensure high-quality service delivery* Support larger installation and upgrade projects across the EMEA region when required **About You** You are a hands-on and solution-oriented engineer who enjoys travelling, solving technical challenges, and building strong customer relationships.
