Job summary

JBT Marel is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimise advanced food processing equipment for customers across Turkey and the wider EMEA region. You will travel extensively, perform preventive maintenance, train operators, and prepare detailed service reports while collaborating with engineering and support teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification required in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Experience in field service, industrial maintenance, or manufacturing environments.
• Fluent Turkish and good English communication (written and spoken).
• Valid driving licence and passport required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair at customer sites in Turkey and EMEA.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues on advanced processing equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximise uptime and efficiency.
• Support customers with operational, maintenance, and technical guidance.
• Deliver operator and maintenance training on equipment operation.
• Prepare service reports, documentation, and follow-up recommendations.
• Identify spare parts and suggest upgrades or improvements.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and support teams to ensure quality.
• Support larger installation and upgrade projects across the EMEA region when needed.
