Job summary

Vertiv Co is seeking an experienced Field Delivery Manager (Thermal Services) to lead a team of Field Service Engineers and Technicians across the EMEA region. You will oversee installation, commissioning, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs of Vertiv's thermal and cooling solutions, including CRAC/CRAH units and chilled water systems.

The role requires strong people leadership, customer focus, and the ability to drive operational excellence while ensuring safety and compliance.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Field Delivery Manager to lead a team of Field Service Engineers and Technicians responsible for delivering world-class service and support across our Thermal (Cooling) Solutions portfolio throughout the EMEA region.

The Role

As a Field Delivery Manager, you will lead and develop a team of field-based engineers responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of Vertiv's thermal and cooling solutions. You will play a critical role in ensuring exceptional service delivery, customer satisfaction, engineer productivity, and operational performance, while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance. This role combines technical leadership, people management, customer engagement, and operational planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, motivate, and develop a team of Field Service Engineers and Technicians.
• Drive operational performance through effective workforce planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of:
  • Installation and commissioning activities
  • Preventive maintenance
  • Corrective maintenance
  • Diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Emergency service support
• Support and oversee thermal infrastructure solutions including:
  • Precision cooling systems
  • CRAC and CRAH units
  • Chilled water systems
  • Direct expansion (DX) cooling solutions
  • Air conditioning systems
  • Thermal management technologies
• Act as the key escalation point for technical and customer-related issues.
• Monitor team performance using KPIs, service metrics, customer satisfaction scores, and operational targets.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Technical Support, Project Management, Logistics, and Service Operations teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety requirements, and industry regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across service operations.
• Identify skills gaps and support training and development activities within
