Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Network Planning Supervisor in Turkey to oversee outbound feeder planning and the supervisory of a logistics team. You will optimize resource use, maintain planning systems, and collaborate across departments to improve flow and safety.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and strong communication, leadership and data-management skills. Flexibility for weekend/holiday shifts is essential in this permanent position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited university is required.
• Experience in logistics, network planning, or related fields with an understanding of both air and ground transportation systems.
• Strong communication skills in written and oral formats.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to retrieve and manage data from multiple systems, including NIS and other logistics tools.
• Problem-solving skills to manage complex logistical challenges under pressure with multiple priorities.
• Leadership experience with diverse teams and driving performance.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements for ground transportation operations.
• Must meet local age and operational requirements to operate a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Feeder Planning: Ensure optimal planning for balance and feeder operations and safe dispatching.
• Team Leadership and Resource Management: Supervise, develop, and mentor department personnel for high performance.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements across operations.
• Operational Coordination: Manage data flow from planning to production and coordinate with other departments.
• System Maintenance and Support: Maintain NIS and planning tools, assist IT teams to improve logistics accuracy.
• Training and Development: Provide onboarding and ongoing development for team members.
• Scheduling and Shift Management: Manage shifts to meet operational demands and ensure timely loading procedures.
