Job summary

Gamak Makina Sanayi A.Ş. seeks an experienced international sales professional to identify opportunities in the assigned regions and expand the distributor network. You will lead export sales from quotation to shipment and coordinate with production and operations to meet targets.

The role requires strong English and Russian, robust export knowledge, and superb organizational skills, with on-site work in Istanbul's Asian side. Military service may apply for male candidates.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering.
• 3+ years of international sales experience.
• Experience in export sales for electric motors or power transmission.
• Strong knowledge of export processes: logistics, customs, payment terms.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Advanced written and spoken Russian.
• Advanced MS Office proficiency.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Sales, persuasion, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct systematic market research in the assigned region and target countries to identify new business opportunities and acquire new customers.
• Effectively manage, follow up on, and develop relationships with existing distributors.
• Visit existing distributors and companies identified through market research.
• Represent the company at international trade fairs and exhibitions.
• Manage the export sales process from quotation through production and shipment.
• Coordinate and provide direction to export production and operations teams.
• Report sales performance and results for the assigned region to management.
• Maintain understanding of industry developments and market dynamics, reporting opportunities.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and follow up on after-sales processes.

• At least 3 years of experience in international sales.
• Preferably, experience in export sales within the electric motors and/or power transmission technologies industry.
• Strong knowledge of export processes, including logistics, customs clearance, and payment terms.
• Advanced written and spoken English.
• Advanced written and spoken Russian.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Solution-oriented, with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong sales, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
• Residing on the Asian side of Istanbul.
• For male candidates, completion of military service is required.
