Job summary

CMA CGM Group in Fatih, Istanbul seeks an Export Documentation Specialist to prepare manifests, ensure compliance, and coordinate with global teams. You will manage documentation accuracy, deadlines, and data integrity across shipment records while collaborating with Operations, Customer Service, and Global Business Service.

The role emphasizes cross-functional communication, problem solving, and process improvements in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience in export documentation, shipping or logistics preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and control vessel manifests and loading lists accurately and within deadlines.
• Ensure export documentation is complete and compliant with customs regulations.
• Coordinate with Global Business Service and international teams to resolve issues.
• Act as focal point between Operations, Customer Service, and Global Business Service regarding documentation matters.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance documentation quality and efficiency.
• Maintain data integrity within shipment systems and records.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and control vessel manifests and loading lists accurately and within the required deadlines.
• Ensure all export documentation is complete, accurate and compliant with customs requirements and regulations.
• Coordinate with Global Business Service and international teams to ensure efficient resolution of operational and system-related issues.
• Act as a focal point between Operations, Customer Service, and Global Business Service teams regarding documentation matters.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance documentation quality and process efficiency.
• Maintain data integrity within operational systems and ensure timely updates of shipment-related records.

Skills & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree from a reputable university, preferably in Logistics, Maritime, International Trade, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in export documentation, customer service, operations, or a similar role within the logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding.
• Knowledge of shipping documentation, Bill of Lading processes and export procedures is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, solution-oriented, and customer-focused mindset.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluency in written & verbal English is a must (part of the interview will take place in English)."
