Job summary

Yapı Kredi Technology is seeking a skilled Infrastructure professional to design, operate, and optimize enterprise VMware environments supporting mission-critical banking applications. You will work within the Infrastructure team to ensure high availability, performance, and operational continuity.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of VMware experience, strong scripting (PowerShell/Python), and a deep understanding of Windows/Linux, storage, and networking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with VMware virtualization environments.
• Experience administering physical and virtual server infrastructure.
• Strong VMware knowledge: vSphere, vROps, Log Insight, SRM.
• Scripting/automation via PowerShell and/or Python.
• Understanding of OS, storage, and networking within IT infrastructure.
• Experience with system upgrades, patching, and hardware refreshes.

Responsibilities

• Design, operate, and improve enterprise virtualization platforms for banking apps.
• Design, implement, administer, and optimize VMware environments.
• Ensure high availability, performance, and continuity of virtualization infra.
• Perform upgrades, patch management, and hardware refresh with minimal impact.
• Monitor health and resolve performance/capacity issues using VMware tools.
• Troubleshoot complex infra problems and provide root-cause analysis.
• Develop and maintain virtualization standards and procedures per IT policies.
• Contribute to infra architecture and projects with virtualization expertise.
• Contribute to PoC activities for new infra technologies.
• Collaborate with storage, network, cloud, and security teams for integrated solutions.
• Support automation initiatives using PowerShell and Python.
