Job summary

Modern Karton in Turkey seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist to design, implement and operate Windows Server environments and associated services. You will oversee backup operations, monitor performance, and manage VMware/Hyper-V environments with SAN storage.

The role requires strong analytical thinking, English communication, and a proactive, responsible approach. The successful candidate will contribute to data center operations and participate in infrastructure improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technologies, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or related field.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and services.
• Proven experience with VMware and Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
• Preferably experienced in backup technologies, particularly Veeam.
• Preferably experienced with SAN infrastructure and storage products.
• Experience in managing physical and virtual server environments.
• Knowledge and experience in data center operations.
• Experience in managing server, backup, virtualization and storage infrastructures.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English.
• Self-motivated, proactive and eager to learn and develop.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to take responsibility and work in a result-oriented and proactive manner.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, operate and maintain Windows Server systems and services.
• Manage and monitor backup operations and ensure business continuity.
• Manage VMware and Hyper-V virtualization environments.
• Manage and administer storage devices, SAN infrastructure and backup appliances.
• Manage physical and virtual server infrastructures.
• Monitor system performance, availability and reliability.
• Analyze and resolve infrastructure-related issues.
• Take an active role in IT infrastructure improvement and transformation projects.
