Job summary

Maersk is seeking an Equipment Maintenance & Repair (EMR) Supervisor to lead EMR operations across our network, ensuring equipment availability, repair quality, cost control, and supplier performance.

Based in Istanbul, the role requires close collaboration with local depots, terminals and vendors, plus travel as needed. Fluent Turkish and English are essential, and experience in logistics or supply chain operations is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in Equipment, Depot, Logistics, Shipping, or Supply Chain Operations.
• Strong supplier and performance management skills.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Experience driving cost control and operational excellence.
• Driving license.
• Fluent Turkish and Fluent English communication skills.
• Russian and Arabic language will be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily EMR operations and depot performance
• Manage suppliers against KPIs, SLAs, quality, and safety standards
• Drive cost optimization and operational efficiency initiatives
• Conduct audits and ensure compliance with EMR policies and SOPs
• Utilize data and analytics to identify improvement opportunities
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational challenges
