Job summary

Maersk is seeking an Equipment Maintenance & Repair (EMR) Supervisor to lead EMR operations, ensuring equipment availability, repair quality, cost control, and supplier performance across our network. The role is based in Istanbul with collaboration across depots, terminals, vendors, and operation teams, including travel when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in Equipment, Depot, Logistics, Shipping, or Supply Chain Operations.
• Strong supplier and performance management skills.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Experience driving operational excellence and cost control.
• Driving license.
• Fluent Turkish and Fluent English communication skills. Russian and Arabic will be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily EMR operations and depot performance.
• Manage suppliers against KPIs, SLAs, quality, and safety standards.
• Drive cost optimization and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Conduct audits and ensure compliance with EMR policies and SOPs.
• Utilize data and analytics to identify improvement opportunities.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to resolve operational challenges.
