GeoLifeSpirit Yazılım Elektronik A.Ş. develops IP67‑rated smart collars with GPS tracking and a mobile/web app. You will design firmware for thousands of devices, process sensor data and optimize power consumption to extend battery life.

Join an embedded team responsible for power management and location accuracy, collaborating with hardware and software colleagues on bring‑up, testing and OTA updates.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience with embedded C/C++.
• Knowledge of RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, etc.) and bare-metal development.
• Solid command of communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART.
• Comfortable with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers and debuggers.
• Hands-on experience with low-power design and battery management.
• GPS/cellular modems experience is a plus.
• Good technical English.

Responsibilities

• Develop firmware in C/C++ on ARM Cortex-M based microcontrollers.
• Integrate GPS/GNSS, cellular (2G/LTE-M/NB-IoT) and BLE modules.
• Optimize low-power modes to maximize battery life.
• Build and secure the OTA firmware update pipeline.
• Implement sensor fusion and motion-detection algorithms.
• Perform board bring-up and debugging with hardware team.
• Contribute to unit tests and hardware-in-the-loop testing.

Build the embedded software at the heart of the GeoLifeSpirit smart collar and enable days of GPS tracking with ultra-low power consumption.

About the role

At GeoLifeSpirit we build IP67-rated smart collars for pets, offering GPS tracking, subscriptions and a mobile/web app. Our embedded team owns everything from power management to location accuracy. In this role you will design the firmware running on thousands of devices in the field, process sensor data, and fight for every milliwatt to extend battery life.

What You Will Do

• Develop firmware in C/C++ on ARM Cortex-M based microcontrollers
• Integrate GPS/GNSS, cellular (2G/LTE-M/NB-IoT) and BLE modules
• Optimize low-power modes (sleep/deep-sleep) to maximize battery life
• Build and secure the OTA (over-the-air) firmware update pipeline
• Implement sensor fusion and motion-detection algorithms
• Perform board bring-up and debugging together with the hardware team
• Contribute to unit tests and hardware-in-the-loop testing

What We Are Looking For

• At least 3 years of experience with embedded C/C++
