Job summary

Geolifespirit is seeking an RF Engineer to design and perfect the radio-frequency performance of our antennas and SIM connectivity used in over 175 countries. You will own the wireless chain from cellular and GNSS antenna design through to certification, work with the hardware team, and collaborate with certification labs to meet CE/FCC standards while enabling reliable field connectivity.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in RF/wireless system design.
• Knowledge of antenna theory and practical tuning.
• Hands-on use of VNA and spectrum analyzers.
• Familiarity with cellular tech (LTE-M, NB-IoT, 2G).

Responsibilities

• Design cellular, GNSS and BLE antennas for a compact device.
• Design and optimize RF matching networks.
• Run antenna efficiency, TIS/TRP and link-budget measurements.
• Manage EMC/EMI and regulatory compliance (CE, FCC, PTCRB).
• Coordinate with mobile network operators and certification labs.
• Analyze field connectivity issues and propose improvements.
• Optimize modem settings with embedded team.

About the role

Our smart collar connects in more than 175 countries worldwide. What makes this possible is high-performance antenna and RF design fitted into a tiny device enclosure. As an RF engineer on our hardware team, you will own the entire wireless chain, from cellular and GNSS antenna design through to certification.

Responsibilities

What You Will Do

• Design cellular, GNSS and BLE antennas for a compact device
• Design and optimize RF matching networks
• Run antenna efficiency, TIS/TRP and link-budget measurements
• Manage EMC/EMI and regulatory compliance (CE, FCC, PTCRB)
• Coordinate with mobile network operators and certification labs
• Analyze field connectivity issues and propose improvements
• Optimize modem settings together with the embedded team

What we look for

What We Are Looking For

• At least 3 years of experience in RF/wireless system design
• Knowledge of antenna theory and practical antenna tuning
• Hands-on use of vector network analyzers (VNA) and spectrum analyzers
• Familiarity with cellular technologies (LTE-M, NB-IoT, 2G)
• Experience with certification processes (CE, FCC, PTCRB) is a plus
• A degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field
• Good technical English
