Job summary

Prysmian Group in Istanbul is seeking an Electrical Site Manager for high voltage cable projects. You will coordinate site activities, liaise with head office and clients, and ensure work aligns with schedule and safety standards.

The role requires 5–10 years in HV/MV infrastructure, a degree in Electrical Engineering, English fluency, and the ability to travel and work on construction sites across cities. Competitive package offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering with HV licensing.
• 5–10 years of experience in high/medium voltage cable projects; TEİAŞ exposure preferred.
• Willingness to live and work on construction sites across cities; valid driver’s license.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office; fluent in English; strong planning and organizational skills.
• Energetic, urgent, fast-paced, and able to handle pressure; strong interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• General coordination of the site and interface with head office.
• Communicate with the customer and address their requests.
• Monitor work per schedule and take corrective actions as needed.
• Make and follow up progress payments with employer and subcontractors.
• Ensure subcontractors comply with technical criteria, contract requirements and OHS rules.

Team Overview and Job responsibilities

We are looking for colleagues who will work as Electrical Site Manager in the high voltage cable projects we receive from TEİAŞ or various contractor companies.

The Ideal Candidate will be responsible for the following processes and tasks:

• Ensuring general coordination of the site
• Ensuring communication with the head office
• Ensuring communication with the customer and resolving their requests
• Monitoring that the work is carried out in accordance with the work schedule and taking the necessary measures for this
• Making and following up progress payments with the employer and subcontractors
• Ensuring that subcontractors work in accordance with technical criteria, contract requirements and OHS rules

Who are we looking for?

The Ideal Candidate should have the following skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Electrical & Electronics Engineers must have ‘’Elektrik Yüksek Gerilim Tesislerinde İşletme Sorumluluğu Yetkilendirme Belgesi’’)
• 5-10 years of experience (preferably experienced in high voltage and/or medium voltage cable transmission/distribution infrastructure projects. Having experince with TEİAŞ is also a preferred qualification.)
• Able to work and reside on construction sites in different cities, with no obstacle to travel
• Having a driver's license
• Knowledge of Autocad and MS Office applications
• Fluent in English knowledge
• Solid planning and organizational skills, along with critical thinking and strong analytical abilities to achieve results and improve key metrics
• Must have high energy, demonstrate urgency, and fast pace, ability to resolve issues quickly and deal easily with pressure on a day in and day out basis
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that include teamwork and collaborative problem solving.
