Job summary

Rönesans Holding is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead electrical infrastructure projects from initiation to handover in Türkiye. You will coordinate engineering, procurement, and site teams, ensuring milestones, budgets, and safety standards are met.

The role requires hands-on PM experience with GIS, MV switchgear, and overhead line projects, plus strong stakeholder management and contract control. PMP/PE and Primavera P6/MS Project proficiency are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• PM experience on electrical infrastructure or power system projects.
• Experience with overhead lines, GIS, and MV switchgear.
• Experience coordinating engineering, procurement, and site execution.
• Experience dealing with government authorities and approvals.
• Knowledge of contracts, scheduling, cost control, risk and change management.
• Familiarity with electrical standards, safety and quality procedures.
• Professional engineering registration and/or PMP certification would be an advantage.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 or MS Project and standard reporting tools.

What You’ll Do?

• Manage the project from initiation and planning through execution, commissioning, and final handover.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and procurement schedules.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, site teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor progress, manage project risks, resolve interface issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Control scope changes and maintain records of decisions, approvals, and contractual correspondence.
• Prepare regular progress reports covering schedule, cost, technical issues, risks, and required decisions.
• Coordinate the preparation, review, and approval of designs, calculations, drawings, equipment specifications, and technical submissions.
• Oversee technical interfaces between overhead lines, GIS, MV switchgear, protection and control, cables, earthing, and associated civil works.
• Ensure engineering deliverables meet contractual requirements, applicable standards, and utility and authority requirements.
• Manage technical queries and coordinate timely resolution of design and site issues.
• Coordinate equipment and material procurement in line with technical requirements and project milestones.
• Support technical bid evaluations, supplier selection, and purchase order specifications.
• Monitor vendor drawings, manufacturing progress, inspections, factory acceptance tests, and deliveries.
• Manage long-lead items and resolve technical or delivery issues with suppliers.
• Coordinate subcontractor scope definition, technical evaluation, mobilization, and execution.
• Monitor subcontractor performance against schedule, quality, safety, and contractual obligations.
• Coordinate work interfaces and support the resolution of site constraints and construction issues.
• Review progress claims, variations, and completion records with the relevant commercial and site teams.
• Act as the primary project representative and single point of contact for external stakeholders.
• Coordinate permits, approvals, inspections, utility interfaces, and other required submissions.
• Lead project coordination meetings, document commitments, and follow up on outstanding actions.
• Maintain effective working relationships with clients, government organizations, utilities, consultants, and other relevant parties.
• Coordinate inspection, testing, commissioning, and energization activities with authorized parties.
• Ensure readiness reviews, acceptance requirements, and outstanding defects are addressed.
• Manage the submission of as-built drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, test records, and handover documentation.
• Clear communication and effective stakeholder management.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage competing priorities.
• Sound technical judgment and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
• Accountability for project commitments and timely escalation of risks.
• Delivery against agreed project milestones and budget.

What We Expect from You?

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated project management experience on electrical infrastructure or power system projects.
• Relevant technical experience with overhead lines, gas-insulated switchgear (GIS), and MV switchgear systems.
• Experience coordinating engineering, procurement, subcontractors, and site execution.
• Experience dealing with government authorities, utilities, and statutory approval processes.
• Strong understanding of contracts, project scheduling, cost control, risk management, and change management.
• Familiarity with applicable electrical standards, safety requirements, and quality procedures.
• Professional engineering registration and/or PMP certification would be an advantage.
• Proficiency in project planning tools, such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, and standard reporting software.
