We are looking for an experienced Electrical Operations & Maintenance Manager to lead electrical operations and maintenance activities at our industrial facilities in Türkiye.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of electrical systems, driving equipment reliability, minimising unplanned downtime and leading technical teams towards continuous improvement and operational excellence.

This position requires a strong combination of technical expertise, operational leadership and a proactive approach to health, safety and performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage electrical operations and maintenance activities, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient plant operations.

Ensure the safe and continuous operation of medium- and high-voltage (MV/HV) electrical systems, substations, power distribution infrastructure and associated electrical equipment.

Develop and implement preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance strategies to maximise equipment reliability and minimise unplanned downtime.

Lead root cause analysis (RCA) of electrical failures and implement sustainable corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Oversee maintenance planning, work orders, technical procedures and maintenance documentation.

Monitor electrical system performance and drive improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency and operational reliability.

Prepare and manage departmental budgets, ensuring effective cost control, spare parts management and resource optimisation.

Lead, develop and manage electrical operations and maintenance teams, supporting technical competency, performance improvement and workforce planning.

Manage and supervise contractors, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality requirements and safety standards.

Ensure compliance with applicable national and international electrical standards, regulations and company procedures.

Ensure effective implementation of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Permit to Work (PTW), electrical energy isolation and risk assessment procedures.

Monitor maintenance performance indicators and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational excellence.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in electrical operations and maintenance within industrial facilities, preferably including at least 3 years in a team leadership or managerial role.
• Preferably experienced in large-scale, continuous-process industrial facilities within the chemicals, mining, energy, petrochemicals, cement or related heavy industries.
• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in medium- and high-voltage (MV/HV) electrical systems, substations, power distribution networks and electrical protection systems.
• Completion of High Voltage Electrical Installations Operation Responsibility Training
• Solid experience in preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance, equipment reliability, fault investigation and root cause analysis.
• Good understanding of electrical motors, motor control systems and industrial electrical equipment.
• Proven experience in maintenance planning, budgeting, cost control and resource optimisation.
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in electrical safety, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Permit to Work (PTW), electrical energy isolation, risk assessment and safe maintenance practices.
• Demonstrated commitment to a strong Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) culture, with the ability to lead by example and prioritise safety in all operational activities.
• Good knowledge of applicable national and international electrical standards, technical regulations and occupational health and safety requirements.
• Experience with SAP PM or other Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, people management, communication, planning and organisational skills.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Valid driving licence (minimum Class B).
