Job summary

Aksa Carbon in Turkey seeks an Electrical & Automation Specialist Engineer to lead the Electrical & Automation Maintenance team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will drive maintenance strategies, support PLC/DCS projects, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

The role requires a Bachelor's in electrical/automation engineering, 3 years in plant maintenance, and strong teamwork with English fluency; willingness to relocate to Yalova or Karamürsel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in maintenance processes within industrial plants (preferred).
• Knowledge of industrial automation, PLC programming, and DCS (Honeywell) systems (preferred).
• Energy Management Certificate or High Voltage Operating Responsibility Certificate (preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, CMMS software (BEAM or IBM Maximo) is a plus.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, team player.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Residing in or willing to relocate to Yalova or Karamürsel.

Responsibilities

• Lead Electrical & Automation Maintenance team.
• Decrease breakdown time and improve plant performance using advanced maintenance methods.
• Execute and follow preventive maintenance across systems, production equipment, and electrical infrastructure.
• Modify PLC software: Siemens, Rockwell, Honeywell, Mitsubishi; operate SCADA and drive systems.
• Calibrate process devices.
• Support energy management activities to improve energy efficiency and reduce consumption.
• Support Continuous Improvement projects and CMMS activities (work orders, history, spares).
• Ensure spare parts organization and new electrical item requests.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, LOTO procedures and HSE policies.
• New employees are provided with accommodation at company facilities to support relocation/onboarding.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead Electrical & Automation Maintenance team
• Decrease breakdown time at the plant and increase plant performance parameters by using advanced maintenance methods.
• Execute and follow Preventive maintenance activities related with all systems including production equipment and electrical infrastructure.
• PLC Software modification Siemens, Rockwell, Honeywell, Mitsubishi PLC, Scada and drive systems.
• Implement calibrations of the process devices.
• Support energy management activities (electricity, steam, natural gas etc. ) of the plant to increase energy efficiency and decrease consumptions.
• Support implementation of Continuous Improvement projects and activities.
• Support CMMS activities including work order management, equipment history and spare parts optimization.
• Ensure follow up Spare part organization and create new requests related with electrical items
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, LOTO procedures and company HSE policies.
